i woke up around sixish this morning, petted mollie, petted winnie, both of whom were sleeping nicely nearby.  after a while, though, i figured i might as well just get up.

up before kevin!  a historical moment.  this has happened maybe three times in our lives together.  maybe less than that.

we went out on the dock and i brought my camera and took MANY MANY MANY pictures.  it was really cool because there was some fog on the water, plus some fishermen were roaring past on their way to a tournament, i suppose.

i have lots to do today, so no time to post the many many photos, but here are just a few.

kevin is looking not quite awake, isn’t he?  even though i got up earlier, he’s already gone, out to the range to help set up for tomorrow’s exciting cowboy shoot.

winnie loves to follow us all around outside, but he’s not so crazy about being picked up.

there’s mollie, over on our neighbor’s dock.  she goes over there every morning.  the guy has a fish feeder, and kevin thinks that mollie must have found stray pellets of fish food, and goes over there for a little post-breakfast, pre-orange ball treats snack.

because she is, of course, wasting away.

i love that fog on the lake.  i wouldn’t mind sitting down there at the dock for a while, but like i said, MANY THINGS TO DO.  last night i was thinking about the stuff i have to do this morning, but pleased that the rest of the day would be no activity – but then i remembered that i INVITED A BUNCH OF PEOPLE OVER FOR DINNER.

so never mind about that.

but it’s all good.

ok then,

saturday morning grace, before eight a.m.
