HAVE YOU RESERVED YOUR SPOT?

i’m not exactly freaking out, but i woke up this morning when kevin got up, at FIVE EIGHTEEN IN THE MORNING, and i just kept lying there in bed, thinking about things…and then i thought about how, on friday, I WILL SLEEP IN.

in theory, anyway.  actually, friday looks like its’ going to be a very busy day, but i won’t have to think about my GREAT BIG TALK.

at least instead of lying there at 5:18 WORRYING, like i normally would, instead i was actually thinking creative thoughts.  PLUS, i even remembered them when i finally gave up on trying to get back to sleep, and got outta bed at seven.

and of course, OF COURSE, SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS are in the forecast for thursday night, maybe at 7:00.  but since i start at 6, hopefully people will show up anyway?  and then worry about the SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS after it’s over?

and maybe they won’t be severe.

and maybe they WON’T EVEN HAPPEN.

because i do remember that one day i waited to go running because on the weather channel on my computer it said there was a ONE HUNDRED PERCENT CHANCE of rain, right then when i wanted to run.  BUT IT WASN’T RAINING, AND IT DIDN’T RAIN.

gee, i’m certainly being very emphatic with all the all caps this morning, aren’t i?  just a little bit wound up.  i just drank a cup of my lapsang souchong tea in my GIANT mug.

but here’s the important stuff, part of my walk with lester, who had a good time exploring the lake.

neverending kitty cuteness!

in that last photo, my neighbor, frank, started his boat and putted away, and les was SHOCKED.

whew.  at the top of my list for today is to squeeze in a little bit of time to TAKE A NAP.

ok then,

have a beautiful wednesday,

mrs. g. hughes.
