First, I think this is just about the most beautiful sunrise photo I’ve seen in a while. Of course I didn’t take it; Kevin is the one who sees the sunrise. The sky and the reflection were just so vivid!

Here’s the back of Mom’s house, and unfortunately nobody ever appreciates it because literally nobody ever goes back there, but Kevin had just finished putting up her railing around the deck after repairing the many bad boards and after the guy had painted the house. Lovely, and sad that nobody sees it, not even usually Spot and I when we go for a walk because it’s a little too far to take hm comfortably. But well done, Kevin, putting the finishing touches on an excellent house refurbishment.

The sky, so vibrant out on the water on Oct. 10th. I was pretty desperate to get out on the water as much as possible in October because we were about to put the boat away plus hadn’t been out there nearly enough all year.

The next day Kevin and I kayaked over to Long Bay; this was the first of two kayaks we did in October, and I think maybe the third or fourth all year. Next year more kayaking! I’ve already posted about our later October trip, when Kevin rescued the bee and the water had gotten very low back at the end of the bay.

And never mind about nobody seeing the house from the back; we paddled by Mom’s house and saw this splendid view.

Later that day Mom and I went for a lovely boat ride.

October, all about the water for sure. And cats, of course…Spot was looking particularly photogenic here.

Today I woke up, anxious about the many many things I desperately needed to accomplish…and here I continue to sit on the couch and already it’s after noon and the day is for sure going to get away from me if I don’t leap up and get to it. But hey, at least posting on here, that’s an accomplishment, anyway…

Ok then,

Mrs. November Hughes.
