how did it get to be thursday already? will i really get up off the couch in time to go to yoga? WHERE HAS THIS WEEK GONE?
very busy.
here’s our front porch with the many new lovely palms. this was last friday; now there are a few beautiful tulips blooming. last year we had SO MANY TULIPS. but then during the winter the deer came and ate the bulbs right out of the ground. baaaaad deer.
yet more palms, and i’m amazed at how different this looks from right now. i will go out soon and take more photos!
these daffodils just appeared this year.
i love the hyacinths, except i crouched down to smell them and they weren’t nearly as fragrant as i expected.
even though the deer ate so many bulbs, we did have a riot of new daffodils.
saturday morning i woke up before sunrise, and i heard the roar of fishing boats; must have been a tournament. i tried to take many photos of them whizzing by.
can you see the fog in the background? it was a lovely morning.
i didn’t even see the moon, i only noticed it when i looked at this picture!
lester was enjoying the view.
just now he came into the living room with an ENORMOUS pair of wool socks. he’s very desperate for somebody to play with him.
the forsythia bushes were so lovely; everything is good because it’s finally spring!
daffodils, geese, birds on the lake, fog. many elements going on.
whew. and now, thursday is strting to slip away from me. must grab it!
