I’m sitting here on my couch realizing that I should be outside right now cause the weather is amazingly perfect. I mean, perfect. I just did some yoga out on the deck and disturbed Lovey, who likes to lie around out there. Oh well.
Anyway, July…the sky was so amazing on this night in early July.
July 9th, I didn’t go to the tomb ceremony with Kevin that night because it was too hot or raining or something. Instead, I did yoga up in Pumpkin’s room. He was quite pleased that i was there, winding himself around my legs as I moved from pose to pose. A good time was had by all. I should do that more often, because not only does it make Pumpkin happy, but the carpet is very thick and makes the experience more comfortable.
Yes another beautiful boat ride…one thing I love about being on the boat is that I can see the maximum amount of sky.
I took this after we docked.
When I went for a run (slow jog) on July 20th, once again I saw this gathering of bucks with antlers in the field. I’ve seen them a few times this year and don’t recollect ever seeing a group like this before.
Of course they didn’t like having their picture taken and were soon leaping and bounding away from me across the field.
The next night, a full moon.
Even though it’s hard to say when we’ll have another opportunity to take a big trip, or even a short one, at least it’s completely beautiful here and every day I am thankful that I get to gaze out at the water.
This afternoon Mom and I are headed to the fair, which I’m really looking forward to. Besides the corn dogs and delicious Culler’s fries, it’ll be great to walk around and it won’t be boiling hot. Right at this moment it’s only 70° outside and low humidity. Nice.
Ok then,
Mrs. Perfect August Day Hughes.
