we’ve been in DC.  Washington, that is.

we had a good time, but it reminded me how much I HATE TRAFFIC.  how did i manage to drive around LA for six whole years?  maybe it’s because of all that driving that i hate the traffic so much.

DC traffic always seems worse somehow.

i took a few photos, but didn’t manage to take any of my friends kelly and thad.  i did take a picture of kelly and her extremely funny and cute daughter katie, but i took it with my camera and there’s something wrong with getting photos off my phone so far.  i have to call and find out why there’s a problem but that’s not going to happen right now.

ok, i started writing all of that above about seven hours ago, and i kept meaning to get back to it, and to post a few photos…but it hasn’t happened.  now i’m about to give a couple of massages and then i have rehearsal (YES REHEARSAL ON A FRIDAY NIGHT WHICH SEEMS CRAZY).  maybe i’ll get those photos up later today.

today it is grey and kind of chilly and yet i’ve seen a few boats rocketing past my window.  earlier i saw a couple of guys in a fishing boat, slowly making their way along the shore.  brrrr is all i have to say to that.
