the other night winnie was playing – winnie doesn’t usually play so much, he mostly looks very upset about things. but he was chasing something all around the floor, skidding in back of the couch – we went to investigate, and it was a green bean.
a freshly-picked green bean from the garden, and winnie had the best time ever with it.
and also, last week les lost his collar. he looked so naked, like a truly wild cat. we had some people over who had two little kids, and the kids and i looked all over the fenced-in yard, hoping to locate the collar, but we couldn’t find it anywhere.
the next morning, kevin heard lester come in the kitty door, and he walked into the living room carrying his collar.

i decided i should put all my photos on this computer that is now kevin’s, to have a backup of photos anyway, so theoretically, at least, i’ll be putting up more photos really soon.
except today is going to be yet another beautiful day, and i haven’t gotten nearly as much done in the yard as i’ve wanted to, and i’m hoping that TODAY IS THE DAY.
