and it’s going to be a bitterly cold weekend. my plan is to not go outside at all.
kevin has pain, pain and more pain. we went to the orthopaedic surgeon yesterday and got a cool photo of the inside of his knee. i’m going to scan it and put it up here. the torn meniscus looks like a pillow that has been frayed. the doctor went in with a teeny tiny little metal thing and scraped away at it in order to shave it down.
i wish i had time to post that photo right now, but i have a very busy day of work today, before i spend my weekend hibernating with my husband and all the animals, who will be unhappy that they won’t like going outside at all.
we’ll all probably get just a little stir crazy. i’m going to combat that by baking desserts.
and by the way, do you watch jon stewart? he’s so funny and accurate. if you don’t ever watch him, you should try it some time. the other night he was skewering the media about the fact that they blow everything so out of proportion, which we all know anyway but he does such an excellent job of pointing things out.
