i was reading and article in the wall street journal about the shame the governor has cast upon our fair state – and a couple of paragraphs lept out at me.

first:

“Some residents are worried that the whiff of corruption coming from the state capital in Springfield could interfere with the city’s bid for the 2016 Olympic Games and slow the flow of accolades heaped on Chicago since joyous scenes from Grant Park on election night appeared on television screens around the world.”

WHIFF OF CORRUPTION FROM THE STATE CAPITAL??!!!  hello there, wall street journal, HE’S NOT OUR GUY.  blago doesn’t live here, he barely shows up, he flies back home in the evenings to his home in chicago, his office is NO LONGER IN SPRINGFIELD…nobody is at his office in the state capitol!

DON’T BLAME US FOR THIS GUY.

when he was reelected, people in springfield didn’t vote for him because we already knew he was bad.  very bad.

here’s the other paragraph from the WSJ:

“Some residents say Chicago shouldn’t be tarred by the mess because the governor’s office is 200 miles away in Springfield, even if Mr. Blagojevich spends a lot of time working from his home on Chicago’s north side.”

THE ONLY TIMES HE’S IN THE CAPITOL OFFICE IS WHEN HE GOES THERE TO HIDE FROM THE PRESS WHEN HE’S FORCED TO COME TO SPRINGFIELD.

we in springfield have hated him for a long time, and he has hated us…

and now we’re proven right about his badness.

so please, don’t blame springfield because we’re the state capital.  i guess i need to write to the WSJ and tell them that.

ok then,

that’s all for wednesday grace.
