I was excited to do yoga on Venice beach, but Mom was still feeling the effects of the strong drink she’d had at the Tiki Bar. Drunk Beach Yoga, I think that should be a thing. Except of course that it totally goes against the whole point of yoga. But hey, we were on vacation…

I kept looking over at Mom who didn’t seem to be doing the right moves and sometimes she was just lying there on her towel but that was probably the best thing for her at the time. I decided not to worry about Mom and enjoyed the very basic and simple class .The clouds were spectacular.

After yoga we headed back to our own beach.

I was sitting there enjoying the sky and this guy stopped right in front of me to dig around in the sand. Oh well.

He finally moved along and I love this picture of the sky and the sailboat and the waves. I should print out a copy and hang it on my wall…

After I dragged myself away from the beach we walked back torwards our place and stopped in at Pelican Alley which was right on the causeway. They had many fabulous things for sale and I did my best to control myself. I only bought a few small things.

The woman selling me the stuff said that in the last hurrican they’d had water four feet high and had to replace everything. It was a cute place, and not very crowded.

Unfortunately, I think the reason that there weren’t many people is because the food was baaaad. I decided to get grouper because I kept seeing it advertised. Dry and fishy and yuck. Mom had a rice and beans with shrimp, also not so good. It was ok; at least the rolls were delicious. Plus it was a very short walk back to our place…

One day to go…

Ok then,

Mrs. April Hughes.
