HAPPY BIRTHDAY (yesterday), KEVIN!!!

Kevin's birthday was yesterday, August 4th, and a good time was had by all. We started out with a kayak (first time this year for me) over to Long Bay. Delightful! This is the end of Long Bay. The big fluffy tree on the right is a Cypress. Earlier in the year when Kevin was at Oak Ridge Cemetery practicing for the Lincoln's Tomb ceremony, a guy who works there gave him a few small starts of trees, including a few Cypresses. Kevin planted them and now they're about a foot high. I hope we'll still be alive when they grow up to be tall. But it might take a while...we'll see... Here's the view...
