Gee, that makes me feel incredibly efficient. Here’s me, enjoying a mock mojito at the delicious restaurant Loukenin’s on the first of May. We went there because the restaurant was shutting down on May 3rd. I was glad to have one last meal there. I was actually going to get a mock Moscow Mule because I loved them at Motorhead’s, but they were out of key ingredients for making it cause of the imminent shuttering. The mock Mojito was quite refreshing.

For sure Lovey managed to enjoy herself a lot.

We went for a short boat ride on May 2nd. It was curtailed because of these clouds, which were spectacular but seemed like they’d be expelling rain pretty quickly. We headed back home and it rained about three drops, but at least we were out there for a while.

As we pulled into the dock this lilac sure was looking fine.

On a run, I pass this place all the time and I thought these weeds were so lovely that I stopped to take a photo.

It had rained quite a bit and as I ran past a field these ducks were merrily swimming in the pool that had formed. Funny ducks.

It’s going to be absurdly hot today, up to 91 but feeling like 98. C’mon, it’s only the middle of May. I heard it’s supposed to be the hottest summer on record. Oh well.
Ok then,
Mrs. Warm Hughes.
