WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? i have already shrunk the pictures of the first day of our trip, they’re ready to go, i’ve downloaded the RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF VIDEO that i shot, so that’s ready to go…BUT I JUST HAVEN’T DONE ANY OF IT.
yesterday a friend said, “but grace, you just got back!”
TWO WEEKS AGO.
she said, “but it was tired.”
I’M NOT TIRED ANYMORE.
ok, i’m kind of tired right now, but that’s cause i just got up. actually i got up at seven, and was awake before that. on saturday we’re having a belated wedding reception for garrick and janice; we were gonna do it over the summer but then they were too busy. so of course i am making many things, but the really daunting part is the cleaning. i cleaned for a couple of hours yesterday, and gave a coupla massages, and started the day with weight-lifting class.
but then, instead of being a good person and working on my webstie, i
PLAYED A LOT OF SUDOKU.
yeah, now we’ve come to the crux of the issue, haven’t we?
i don’t even LIKE sudoku that much. it’s all about logic, it’s all about left-brain people, and THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM.
but maybe there’s a little tiny bit of me that is, and i want to make it stronger, because up til now it’s been almost non-existent.
i am getting better at the sudoku, except when i’m getting worse.
i know there are many secret tricks to doing it and i will never figure them out.
bev, who is the QUEEN OF SUDOKU, very very good at it, said she was looking through a book of sudoku tips and she couldn’t even understand what they were talking about.
SO HOW AM I EVER SUPPOSED TO FIGURE IT OUT???
i usually can figure out a puzzle, but it takes me a long time, plus i bought a little travel sudoku book for our trip, and i did one of them FOUR TIMES before i got it right.
i didn’t do it much on the trip, though, no time, because we were busy DOING STUFF, not just SITTING THERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHICH DAMN NUMBERS GO IN ALL THE DAMN LITTLE BOXES.
oh brother.
this is also why i’m getting a little behind in all my party preparations – i think, “I’ve got a free hour, i’ll just SIT DOWN AND PLAY SOME SUDOKU.”
bad bad bad, that’s all i have to say.
