Finally, finally, getting out of January – here’s sweet little Sweetie, enjoying a sunbeam.

I finally hung the xmas lights around the perimeter of the garage, and they make me very happy, indeed. I’m sure the garage kitties are also thrilled. I think it’s almost ready to be an Air B&B rental.

Riley, so very tired…

On January 30th, there was a swan swimming by! Very exciting, and I hurried outside to get a picture…

…and if course even though I was quiet as a mouse, it flew away. We haven’t seen it since.

And on the last day of January I took Spot for a little stroll.

He’s such a good boy.

As I recall, although he wasn’t super happy to be back in his cage outside the garage, he wasn’t too sad about it.

Ha ha, this deer was peeking around the deck to look at me, probably thinking, “Where’s my corn, lady?”

And finally, one more of Riley, always so nonchalant and contented.

We’re supposed to have five more inches of snow on Wednesday, and then at the end of the week, some freezing rain and more snow. Lovely. So theoretically I’ll just be staying inside for a while.

Ok then,

Mrs. February Hughes.
