i forgot to mention, on wednesday night before we went to dinner and a movie…i got to mow.
mowing here is different than mowing at our old house on longwood. i mowed there this week, and the front and back yards took a total of 35 minutes. speedy.
but here, you have to use a riding mower.
i’ve never used the riding mower before.
i’d been planning on taking a nap before going out, but i had mentioned to kevin that i’d like to learn how to drive the tractor at some point…
and i guess he figured, what better time than before we go out to celebrate? a celebration extension, maybe?
it wasn’t really that hard to do. it was kind of fun, actually.

Oh yeah. we were on our bike trip in austria.
not that mowing (plus dinner/movie) wasn’t exciting.
it would have been pretty difficult to top the bike trip.
