because i just couldn’t go to sleep immediately, i looked up the weather forecast. 80% chance of rain today.
but here’s the HORRIBLE THING – on wednesday it’s supposed to only be in the FORTIES, with a low of TWENTY EIGHT.
what about the plants? we’d better not plant them yet, right? because then they would freeze.
oh boy. last sunday my friend gil told me that people were out buying plants like crazy, which was BAD, because this warm weather isn’t gonna last, and then they’ll be sad when their plants die because it’ll get cold again.
i didn’t believe him.
AT LEAST WE HAVEN’T PLANTED THE PLANTS YET.
and really, i need to pay more attention to what gil has to say. he IS a school principal, after all, and that right there should have made me realize that even though he’s quiet and unassuming, he has years and years of knowledge and authority under his belt.
now i’m really truly going back to sleep, before it gets so late that it’s actually morning.
here on the very last day of march, which is, indeed, going out like a lamb…BUT THEN WHAT ABOUT THE FRIGID TEMPERATURES COMING UP?
oh boy.
good night again.
grace still HUGHES not smith.
