Although it’s supposed to be in the 60s today, whoo hoo for that! But it’s a one-day-only kind of thing. Oh well. We’ll take what we can get. Also I have a ridiculous amount of stuff to accomplish today so I don’t know how much I’ll get to be outside. Oh well…
Never mind, never mind, it’s now after 7 p.m. and it was, indeed, a deliciously warm day but I mostly spent it sprinting from one thing to another. Lots of driving. But it’ll be warm again someday, spring is right around the corner…
And hey, here’s a picture not involving cats! Whoo hoo again! After we had 11″ of snow, Kevin, Glenn and I did a little cross-country skiing around the circle. I did a litte, that is, and afterwards the guys headed over to the fields to do lots more skiing. Even though I’m not a huge fan of cold and snow it was invigorating and fun to get out in it for a while.

The lake, the ice, it all looked cool…

It woulda been mighty chilly trying to have a fire that day…plus, I don’t think even Kevin could have ignited a flame.

Spot was indignant that I was out in the snow and he was stuck in his little kitty cage.

That night, Pumpkin was content to sit up on the plant upstairs. Because he’s Pumpkin. This was the last photo of him before his move all the way over to Mom’s house. He continues to thrive over there which is nice for both him and Mom.

Whew, it’s been a day. It’s hard to believe that it’s going to be more wintery tomorrow, but there’s nothing to be done about it. Stay warm!
Ok then,
Mrs. H.
