kevin is so giddy with delight that he is retiring on THURSDAY. he’s like a little kid, counting down the days, hours and minutes…plus he keeps trying to figure out ways to GET OUT OF THE OFFICE on these final days of his. he called me from work this morning to say that he had to take his friend randy to litchfield for some reason, so that certainly ate up big swaths of time. he said he’d be home for lunch late, but it’s now after three and he hasn’t been home yet so i’m assuming he’s going to put his lunch hour at the end of the day, and will therefore be strolling in her any time now.
giddy with delight.
on other fronts…i can’t think of any other fronts that are more important at this time. i have to go to chicago on friday for a three day massage workshop. this would be ok except i have to drive by myself all the way to someplace in the far north of chicago and i’m not looking forward to that at all. plus on friday afternoon there is going to be five hours of lecture to start things off and that sounds like a very very long time to have to sit down. i can’t remember the last time i sat for that long. maybe because it’s a workshop for massage therapist, they’ll let us stand up and stretch our legs a lot.
it’s ridiculously cold today. i’m trying to ignore it.
ok then,
tuesday grace.

When I woke up to snow last week, I finally realized I had been in TOTAL DENIAL about winter.
snow. i think i’d freak out if it started snowing any time soon. kevin just told me there is supposed to be snow up in chicago. not good. not good at all.
