janet, who i’ve only actually seen in person one time, has been a loyal reader for a very long time. i’m sure we’ll see each other again somebody. meanwhile, janet e-mailed me today and said YOU CAN READ KEVIN’S ARTICLE IN THE PAPER ONLINE. you have to subscribe to the online edition of the paper in order to be able to read all the stuff in the paper.
so i requested an online subscription but it’s going to take a day or two, but in the meantime she sent me this link so you can read it yourself. too bad there’s no photo, but like i said, i’m going to try to remember to get a copy of the photo.
here’s the article:
very sweet of him to mention me so much. my husband, who i’m married to still, after all this time.
and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID! my brother is…46? i think. today. we’re going out to dinner to celebrate and then coming back here for cheesecake. i was going to make a carrot cake but we had a cheesecake in the freezer and i figured that if i’m not around cake as much, maybe i won’t feel compelled to eat it all. none of the making and tasting the delicious cream cheese frosting.
BRR it’s cold today. we took a walk at about four in the afternoon and i thought it’d be kind of nice but instead it was cold and i was only wearing one coat, and not a very big one. plus no hat at all.
winter is a ’comin, time to rustle up the cattle.
wouldn’t it suck to be a farm animal and have to spend cold days and nights outside?
besides the whole getting slaughtered thing that happens to so much of them, but let’s not start the weekend on a downer note, ok? because somehow we’ve (i’ve) managed to get through kevin’s first week of being a night shifter. not the same as a shape-shifter.
today at yoga, shirene was there! it was nice to see somebody i knew.
stretchy stretchy soon i’m going to be stretchy like a pretzel.
or at least not as non-stretchy as i’ve been for the last very long time.
ok then, kevin is now playing the harmonica, i’d better go.
friday grace.
