photos, some of which i’ve been meaning to post for quite a while now.
i felt the need to get up in the middle of the night last night and do…something…on the computer. i think i was furiously looking one thing up. maybe more than one. for the life of me, i can’t remember what.
the sun came up while i was sitting here. i should have taken a picture.
numie and noodle came over last, and everybody was really tired.

kevin took these on thursday morning.

see all the birds down there on the bird feeder? we moved all the bird food off the deck, and put the food in a bird fountain. we figured they don’t need a fountain because there’s plenty of water in the lake.

we bought some bleeding hearts. i’d never seen a bleeding heart before; i saw a bleeding heart christmas ornament in a gardening catalog last christmas and thought they were so pretty that i almost bought them, but we really don’t need any more ornaments. but i kept thinking about how pretty they were…and the real ones are even better.

i thought mollie was looking especially photogenic that day.

thursday is the day that i did all that planting of flowers in the window boxes. maybe i’ll remember to take new photos in a few weeks, when they’ve gotten bigger. i feel like they’re already bigger because of all the rain.

the geraniums are from last year – they sat in the hot tub room all winter, getting bigger and bigger.

what a spotless deck! it is now covered with spinners, and more are falling as i type. plus there are thousands up in the huge tree overhead.

i adore this new rug. it’s indoor-outdoor but i keep thinking i’d like to buy a green one for the bedroom.

this was all the rain yesterday. it’s raining today, too, and colder. a good day to stay inside and obsess about video things. or WAIT, a good day to stay inside and NAP!

kevin just got home. he got many blue ribbons and had a great time. and that wasn’t a huge piece of fried fish in that photo before, it was pork tenderloin.
because i’m sure you were dying to know.
ok then,
sunday afternoon grace.
