first, christine pointed out that it’s NOT BRAD PITT in the upcoming “star trek” movie. i must have been overcome with the football excitement. what with the running around with the ball and throwing and catching it and everybody piling up on each other. except that one guy who punched that other guy, i hope he got severely reprimanded for that because it was incredibly unsportsman-like behavior.
speaking of which, i see that michael phelps has had to make many many apologies for being photographed smoking pot. hmm, hopefully sometime we’ll be in the 21st century about smoking pot. after all, our president did it. i haven’t heard anything about him passing any bills to legalize it, but maybe he’ll work on that after fixing the economy and the messes around the world and all that other stuff.
this morning i read in the paper that our EX governor is going to be on david letterman tomorrow night. enough already with giving this doofus all this free publicity. he’s an unemployed guy who is facing a criminal trial and then lots of jail time. he doesn’t deserve to be on national tv – and the thing is, he doesn’t care that people are making fun of him; i really don’t think he has any understanding at all about how he’s perceived. completely and utterly un-self-aware.
