sitting here reading stuff about the VP debate. it’s over now, i must get things done today. we’re having a picnic for 30 people here on sunday, we’re also having an open house at our old house on sunday, my car is so full of boxes and bags of stuff for a unitarian garage sale that i’m sure then when i open the doors the stuff will fall out.
how much time yesteday did i spend reading about the debate? most of the day. VERY VERY BAD.
by the time it started i realized that palin wasn’t going to appear to be the completely uninformed creature who can’t put together a coherent sentence, as demonstrated in her interviews with katie couric.
i remained calm through the debate, and spent time looking at running commentary online. i was amused by one written by a guy from the telegraph in the UK – one of the comments on his site mentioned the “six pack americans” and said the person didn’t understand america, and did she mean beer or abs?
but this morning i started thinking about six pack americans, joe six pack. does joe really drink a six pack at one sitting? isn’t she really, then, talking about drunk americans?
it was annoying to listent to her pound over and over again on what mavericks she and john are.
i’m glad it’s over.
ok, i’m getting done everything i had to do yesterday, plus today. busy busy busy.
friday grace.
