erica sent me an e-mail about something interesting she’s going to do:
“I signed up to volunteer on May 16th at the Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach. They do really awesome things by saving medical supplies and equipment and sending them to countries that need them. http://www.mission-outreach.org/index.html ”
i looked at their website, and it does really look good. i then looked at the Hospital Sisters website, and it was interesting. i don’t think i could ever be a nun – besides the fact of being married, there’s all that whole religion thing that i have some issues with – but they have a big list of ways to conserve energy and do good things for the environment. here’s the link, if you want to check it out. you probably already know many of these, but i found some new and interesting ones, like that washing your car at a car wash is actually better for the environment than washing it yourself at home.

i have a few more contact numbers on my phone now, so i’m already feeling more secure. someday maybe i’ll even call some of them.
ok then,
tuesday grace although the week has been so busy that it feels like at least friday, if not next week already.
