i hope your holiday was good.  we went out to dinner, which was kind of like being at o’hare airport, except there were no flights to wait for.

i started my morning today with reading my collection of comics at comics.com, and i don’t know why i stopped doing this because it’s a good way to get into a good frame of mind for the rest of the day.

i have to say, though, that as i sit here in my warm flannel jammies, the blue ones with the cupcakes all over them, as opposed to the red ones with dogs, i can’t imagine how, in 45 short minutes, i will be lifting weights.

i mean, i know that i will be, but i just can’t picture getting up (which i have to do in about two minutes) and putting on workout clothes and grabbing something to eat, plus a snack for after class so i don’t pass out from hunger before getting home, and then lifting weights and then doing zumba.

it’s a pretty morning, although cold, and THERE’S A BOAT OUT ON THE WATER RIGHT NOW.

if we had a little fishing boat, would i go out in it sometimes?  the idea is kind of appealing but not when it’s soooo cold.

if i don’t get up right now i am going to be late for class.

but on the other hand, it IS sunday morning, so there won’t be much traffic.

after class, as a reward, i am going to lowe’s to buy five under-plant things.  you know, those things that go under the pots so the water doesn’t get all over the floor.  after bringing in a ridiculous amount of flowers, i’ve realized that five of the under-plant things have holes.  great quantities of water have already flooded different floors in the house.  i am a little doubtful that they’ll have any good ones; they will probably be the crappy, thin clear plastic ones that leak.

as you can see, a very exciting sunday is in store for me.

i am also going to bake kevin a pumpkin pie, because there were no sugar-free dessert choices for him on thanksgiving.

now i’m really going to be late.

ok then,

mrs. sunday morning hughes.
