We just went out for a lovely birthday lunch at Bella Milano, the restaurant that’s out past the 12-plex movie theater. why doesn’t that movie complex have any kind of sign outside? there’s not even anything on the side of the building. what if i’m driving by and want to go see a movie? very odd.
it’s cooler today, a good thing, especially for FRIDAY. mollie and i went running this morning and neither of us got too hot. except the only this is that sometimes i take her off the leash when we’re out on the trail and there are no other people around, but then i kept yelling at her MOLLIE! MOLLIE! MOLLIE! to get her to come back to me because she was about to run into somebody’s garden, but she refused to listen. sometimes she’s a little bit crazy. at the moment, as a matter of fact, she’s running around with a (toy) mouse in her mouth, and she won’t let go of it for anything.
as you can see, things are hopping around here this afternoon. a good way for them to be.
mom is flying back from switzerland, after spending her last day yesterday in geneva. i’m looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing the photos and it makes me want to travel more and more.
