not that she’ll see this.  but if you see HER, wish her a happy birthday!

here’s a photo of us.  she was three and i was nine.

isn’t she ADORABLE?  i was going to include this in the rolling photos over there on the right side of the screen, like on the old version of the website, but it was too difficult to accomplish.  maybe if i ever have any motivation, i’ll find somebody who could do that.  because it must be possible somehow, musn’t it?

here’s us at the our last halloween party.

as you can see, both of us are much more grown up and mature.

i hope you’re having a good labor day.  mine would be great, except kevin has to work.  so i went swimming for him.  mollie refuses to swim and won’t even go near the water.  she acts afraid that somebody is going to push her in,  which is odd, because nobody has ever tried to make her go in the water.  we did swim with her once, a few years ago, and i think she liked it but maybe not.  she wore her doggie life vest which looks quite amusing.

this year she’ll remain in the kitchen at my side as i make stuff for amy’s BIG BIRTHDAY DINNER.  mollie is always ready to help, as long as helping involves cleaning stuff off the floor.

ok then,

first day of september grace
