we were thinking about going out to dinner for some corned beef and cabbage, but instead kevin decided to make it himself.  it was delicious, but really, the best thing was the fact that it was IN THE 70S, so we ate dinner down at the dock.  PARADISE ON ST. PATRICK’S DAY!  a HUGE improvement over last year; i had a tooth pulled on st. patrick’s day and was taking lots of medication so i couldn’t enjoy the delicious meal that dad had fixed, and then i had a horrible allergic reaction to the drugs they gave me.  yuck.

but, last night…delightful.  gerrick stopped by to join us, and bought his cute lemon beagle, Max. gerrick is enjoying a delicious piece of irish soda bread that my parents brought over for us – they got it at a bakery across from schnuck’s and it was quite tasty.  max was dying for a piece, but they’re trying to put him on a diet.  it’s going marginally OK because gerrick is a huge, huge softie.

max is wearing a t-shirt because he had surgery about a week ago and looked like frankendog.  then he got some kind of bite which got infected, so he had surgery yesterday morning and had to wear the shirt.  he was totally happy last night down at the dock, and when it was time to go home he was reluctant to get in the car with gerrick.  everybody likes it here.

ok then,

mrs. friday morning grace.
