Friday evening, Feb. 28th, we'd left the beach for a bit to cruise the shopping in Venice one more time, and afterwards drove down to the end of our beach for a different vantage point. Plenty of people were parked in the lot across the street and clearly they wanted to watch the sun set while imbibing. It looked like a tailgate party.
