On Sunday afternoon we hopped on a bus for the short ride down to the library. This picture is funny to me because that’s what happens when you don’t quite get somebody in the frame. Oops, sorry, Mom.

We walked through the library and out the side door then headed to Bryant Park, at the back of the library. W sat for a bit and watched the people playing chess and lots of people hanging out on this lovely afternoon.

The W.R. Grace building is right across the street. When I was little, a Grace truck parked in front of our house one time. My parents sent away for a Grace t-shirt, umbrella, and a little toy Grace truck. I have all of them still and could wear the t-shirt if I felt like it, which I don’t because I don’t need my name on my shirt.

We then walked five minutes over to the Nederlander Theater to see Schmidagoon. And oh my! What a fun, happy, well-done show. Anna Gasteyer iwas hilarious at the Minister’s wife, and the whole thing was a hoot.
Afterwards we met up with Bev’s daughter Erin and had a nice Italian dinner at a place called Il Divino.

It was fun to get to hang out with Erin.
We walked back to our place early and had plenty of time to sit around relaxing. One more full day ahead of us in the city, and what a day it turned out to be…
Ok then,
Mrs. H.
