Our plane didn’t leave til 3:15 in the afternoon, so we had plenty of time to get out of the hotel. Or rather, we would have had plenty of time, but instead there was much scrambling and packing and more packing and we left our room at 11:58, two minutes before our late check out time. Whew.

It was nice to relax in the cab for the ride to the airport, and we passed the Waldorf. I’d wanted to go there, but somehow there’s never enough time to see all the stuff I’d like.

We got to the airport in plenty of time and enjoyed Shake Shack cheeseburgers and shakes. That’s my new tradition when leaving New York, and a fine tradition it is, especially since I have just about no traditions that I can recall.

Whew, again. A good time was had by all, except of course for the Unfortunate Shoulder-Breaking Incident. Next time I’ll pay more attention when we’re walking so hopefully no more mishaps occur. Despite the injury, we did enjoy ourselves and were glad to get to see so many shows.
Ok then,
Mrs. End of That Particular Journey Hughes.
