Running and Flying
I got up even earlier to go for one last run on Saturday March 1st. I was out the door at the crack of 9 a.m. Pelicans were lined up along the seawall while across the way workers worked on continuing to fix the place up after the hurricane. I ran all the way to the jetty yet again and there were quite a few people, plus this pelican taking off. I can't recall if I forgot to eat anything before running, but I do know that I had some money with me. I stopped at the little cafe at my end of the beach but decided against it, and pressed on.
