Vancil Funeral Home published David’s obituary online on Monday and I burst into tears upon reading it. It just made it so real. It was a rough couple of days after that. Today it was published in the paper. Here it is. David’s Obituary.
Because I was prepared this time, I didn’t have the viseral reaction. I’m just sad. His daughter Mercedes was going to put together a slideshow for his Celebration of Life but because she’s so busy with so many death-related things that I told her I’d do it for her. So I’ve been taking pictures of pictures and many of them were from when he was a cute little kid. More sad.
He was sitting in his little car in front of our old house.
