…now that November is already here. Here’s a beautiful moon photo from Sept. 8th.

September 9th, the night before my surgery. It was a lovely night and the sun lit up the trees in a most spectacular fashion.

Gee, the sky is so very big and gorgeous from the water. Next year…

Here’s Kevin at 2:00 p.m. the day of my surgery. He was still wearing his visitor badge. I’m pretty sure I mostly just slept that day after returning home.

He got me this giant and wonderful bouquet of flowers, and here the little Princess is enjoying it. She didn’t try to eat it which was a nice surprise.

Such a tiny fawn at the door!

Even though I wasn’t supposed to life anything over 10 pounds I did have to arrange these beautiful flowers on the counter. I know that none of them weighed even 10 lbs.

One more shot of the fantastic flowers from Kevin.

It was still hot on Sept. 14th but I did sit out on the deck in the morning and enjoyed the water.

And yesterday was the end of Daylight Savings Time; I didn’t realize it til yesterday when there was an announcement on my phone but I guess that’s better because I didn’t waste any energy dreading the fact that it’s going to be so dark so early. At least I got to sleep an extra hour…

Ok then,

Mrs. Doing My Best to be Optimistic Hughes.
