Well…so much snow since I was last here. It was about a foot. It warmed up enough so it’s pretty much gone except for the giant piles in parking lots, but there’s more snow expected late afternoon/tonight as well as Saturday. Kevin said to me, “well, it is winter,” but I said, yes, but it’s more like January or February weather. We normally have no snow at all in December and it’s not so cold. But there it is.

Meanwhile…here are some photos of the loveliness in November, pre-snow.

Frequently the deer seem like they’re posing.

Spot was so happy to be out and about mid-September.

Kevin and Lester were walking one day when Spot and I were outside. Now I see that Les is on the far left, but he really blends in with the leaves. Camouflage kitty.

I sat down to watch a little of the parade on Thanksgiving, and there was Cynthia Erivo opening the spectacle, and there was darling little Princess posing.

Gee, the sky was blue that day in late November.

And that’s about it for November, as Christmas looms. I actually feel OK about the stuff I need to do before then; I might have stopped buying more sets of lights finally. I do love the Christmas lights.

I need to start baking some cookies, but really, don’t I mostly eat many of them myself? I bought a fairly gigantic bag of Hershey’s kisses the other day and I’ve picked out most of the silver-foiled ones and eaten them and it’s kind of like crack for me. Not quite as addictive, I suppose. But still…

Ok then,

Mrs. Waiting for More Snow Hughes.
