ok, well one thing, anyway. ok, i called erica. i mean, this was actually something on my list of THINGS TO GET DONE. but i was going to save calling erica till i had done other things that i didn\u2019t particularly want to do. <\/p>\n
so actually, then, calling erica was actually not accomplishing much because it was something i wanted to do, not something that i NEEDED TO GET DONE. except i did give her details about the VERY EXCITING NEW YEAR\u2019S EVE we\u2019re going to have. a group of us is going to go somewhere down in southern illinois to hear kevin\u2019s band play. i am coordinating this event, because i don\u2019t want to go hear his band all by myself. that would be a TERRIBLE way to spend new year\u2019s eve. instead, it should (theoretically) be a fun new year\u2019s eve. which will be very good, because i\u2019m not sure that i\u2019ve ever actually had a fun new year\u2019s eve. i guess most of them weren\u2019t even memorable at all since i can\u2019t remember many of them.<\/p>\n
i definitely remember some that weren\u2019t fun at all, or were just mildly amusing for a while, or were supposed to be fun but weren\u2019t.<\/p>\n
but this year, things will be different. not to mention the fact that we\u2019re going to be celebrating the beginning of 2008, and eight is my favorite number.<\/p>\n
i really wish there was one more thing i could cross off my list, but the cat honey is sleeping peacefully up against me and i don\u2019t want to disturb her.<\/p>\n
i should add DON\u2019T DISTURB THE CAT to my list, and then i could cross it off.<\/p>\n
maybe the cold weather is making me a little crazy. but the problem there is that this is just the tip of the iceberg, cold-weather-wise.<\/p>\n
i need some hot chocolate.<\/p>\n
