my great big pink jammies, to be exact. i bought them last year at kohl\u2019s and they\u2019re very very soft and fuzzy and comfy and they\u2019re extra-large so they\u2019re really really huge and i love them. <\/p>\n
yesterday during the day i was thinking that there are many many things i needed to get done. kind of like randy and his yard – randy is STILL worried about mowing. it\u2019s almost december, dude, you need to move on. randy talked about mowing his lawn almost every single day for the past many months.<\/p>\n
anyway, i needed to get stuff done and i was energized and was going to go home and write down a list in order to focus better.<\/p>\n
i put on a sweater, but then i decided that i might as well put on my jammies, instead. this was at about 6:30 last night. <\/p>\n
i sat down in my comfy fuzzy pink jammies and proceeded to read my new copy of oprah magazine which had lured me into buying it the other day when we were at lowe\u2019s. i was remembering how i had decided a few months ago not to subscribe to the oprah magazine because it\u2019s mostly ads. lots and lots and LOTS of ads. but somehow the magazine sucked me in. the funny thing is that we bought our new dishwasher that day and we put it on this special plan whereby you don\u2019t have to pay for the dishwasher for about a year. and so it turns out we don\u2019t have to pay for the oprah magazine for that long either.<\/p>\n
last night i started reading it, or at least flipping the pages, and i remembered exactly why i don\u2019t want to subscribe to it because even though the cover PROCLAIMED that there would be articles inside, i never did get to any actual stuff that wasn\u2019t ads.<\/p>\n
i was happy that i didn\u2019t have to pay for the magazine for a year<\/p>\n
after that i turned on the tv, and even though there was nothing at all that interested me, i spent a great deal of time flipping the channels.<\/p>\n
and that, my friend, is how i managed to fritter away the entire evening.<\/p>\n
tonight, though, TONIGHT is a different story. i\u2019ve started some laundry, i\u2019ve heated up stuff for dinner, i\u2019ve already made my list of STUFF TO DO.<\/p>\n
and most importantly i\u2019m not wearing the fuzzy jammies yet. because i know if i put them on i\u2019d just sink right down into my chair and remain there for the rest of the evening.<\/p>\n
everybody in our neighborhood has their xmas lights and trees up. ok, maybe not everybody, but MANY MANY PEOPLE.<\/p>\n
it\u2019s too early. <\/p>\n
