i won\u2019t go into the ugly details, except to say that i know that once i eat solid food again…anything, like one small piece of bread or a grape…that the seven pounds will come gleefully rushing back.<\/p>\n
i don\u2019t look any thinner, but there is nothing at all left in my stomach.<\/p>\n
it hasn\u2019t been a very good week, all in all. things went from bad to really bad to even more bad than that. my temp. went up to 101, and my normal temperature is 96.8 <\/p>\n
yesterday kevin took me to the doctor, who gave me many drugs including two different kinds of antibiotics. i do believe they\u2019ve started to work, except they\u2019re making me kind of groggy, and i\u2019ve already been without energy all week.<\/p>\n
i\u2019m totally sick of either sleeping or attempting to sleep and lying around all the livelong day.<\/p>\n
especially since it\u2019s SUMMERTIME, time to be outside enjoying the weather, not lying around turning on the fan and turing off the fan and asking kevin to close the window then open the window and piling on blankets and then just wearing a big t-shirt.<\/p>\n
i had the energy to take a shower today, which was a relief.<\/p>\n
we\u2019re supposed to see “hairspray” at the little theater on the square in sullivan tomorrow night, and i really hope i\u2019m well enough to go.<\/p>\n
but look, i\u2019m typing, surely that\u2019s a good sign.<\/p>\n
on a more global note, what about China? are we going to find out that every last one of the millions and millions of things that are made there are actually made of asbestos and kerosene and strychnine and botulism and bubonic plague? i feel this will be the case. soon we will be forced to make our own stuff, instead of relying on the chinese, who are only paid two dollars a day and have to eat soup filled with toxins because it\u2019s tasty and cheap and they\u2019re very poor.<\/p>\n
did you know you can get bubonic plague from flea bites? at least that\u2019s what kevin told me. <\/p>\n
i definitely don\u2019t have the bubonic plague.<\/p>\n
ok then, i bet your week has been better than mine (i HOPE your week has been better than mine), and i hope to make up for it over the weekend,<\/p>\n
