<\/p>\nand YAY, i got through both shows last night!\u00a0 it snowed a lot of the day, but luckily it didn’t amount to so much, and the shows went well.<\/p>\n
WHEW, is mainly what i have to say.\u00a0 i slept better last night, after continuing to wake up for an hour or two every night for the past couple weeks.<\/p>\n
as part of the show, i had people pass around chocolate chip cookies that i’d made.\u00a0 i was going to make them a couple weeks in advance and freeze them, but then things got away from me…i had lots of massages, i was continuing to finish the show, then i had to do lots of christmas stuff, so i didn’t get around to baking any cookies til after xmas.\u00a0 i baked THREE HUNDRED of them in one day, which was a little bit exhausting.\u00a0 a couple days later, 100 more.<\/p>\n
and i made WAY WAY WAY WAY WAAAAAAY too many!\u00a0 i figured if there were 100 people at each show, i should make more than 200, because i said in the show “please feel free to take a cookie.\u00a0 or two.”\u00a0 so what if they took two?<\/p>\n
most people didn’t take two!\u00a0 SOOOOOO many cookies left over.\u00a0 when i took them all out of the freezer yesterday i was pleased that i now have a little room, but i put them all back in last night and now it’s packed again.\u00a0 oh well, now i won’t have to bake any all this year!<\/p>\n
here’s me, getting ready in my bathroom yesterday evening.<\/p>\n

i shoulda taken a picture pre-makeup and false eyelashes.<\/p>\n
this morning i didn’t sleep in very much even though i wanted to.\u00a0 perhaps i’ll nap this afternoon.\u00a0 i got up and started bustling around, taking down a few xmas decorations cause i want them all to be GONE, right now!\u00a0 maybe i will do some more later.<\/p>\n
plus i have many many photos, from xmas, from the show, etc.\u00a0 later.<\/p>\n
a little over a week ago, my friend thad in DC e-mailed me, asking if i could live stream my show because he wanted to play it at a party he was going to.\u00a0 my first reaction was LIVE STREAM???\u00a0 I’M TOO BUSY WITH THE SHOW, I CAN’T THINK OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT, I DON’T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO DO IT!\u00a0 but then i briefly looked up live streaming online and it seemed pretty straightforward; dowload the live stream thing, hook up the camcorder, and all would be set.\u00a0 no problem.<\/p>\n
so, the night after xmas i did download it and tested it with camcorder…and it didn’t work.\u00a0 my camcorder doesn’t have the right kind of plugin for it.\u00a0 damn.<\/p>\n
thad seemed incredulous at my prehistoric camcorder; EVERYBODY HAS A FLIP CAMERA, with which i could easily record the show and quickly upload to youtube.<\/p>\n
two days before the show, he said he could fedex his flip phone to me.<\/p>\n
however, erica, who has a flip camera and uses it for work, said that it’d take a while to do that uploading, plus it’d first have to be put on the computer, and then uploaded to youtube, and there wouldn’t be time in between my two shows to do all that and still record the second show.<\/p>\n
i was more and more agitated, researching flip cameras, going crazy trying to figure it out, but then i finally realized i needed to JUST CALM DOWN and focus on the show itself.<\/p>\n
thad wants to send the show all over the web, he wants many many people all over the world to see it, he is very enthusiastic and wrote to me that i need and agent or a manager, and blah blah blah.<\/p>\n
i finally told him that he was TOTALLY STRESSING ME OUT, and then he immediately felt bad and said NEVER MIND DON’T DO ANY OF IT.<\/p>\n
but so i videotaped the dress rehearsal at home, and then erica filmed both shows last night, and today i’m going to start piecing them all together and it will be nice and then he and anybody else can see it all on youtube, and everybody can send it to all their friends and then, yes, EVERYBODY will see it.<\/p>\n
whew.<\/p>\n
i need to take that damn tree down.<\/p>\n
