I don\u2019t think dad actually reads this website, but i\u2019m sure mom will tell him that i wished him a very happy birthday right here.<\/p>\n
before it fades too far into the distance, here are a couple of photos from the wine and wine and more wine and dinner the other night. here\u2019s mom and dad, looking very snazzy.<\/p>\n

as i wrote previously, kevin felt the need to take photos of most of the food, but i just looked at the pictures and they look a little too…vivid…to put up here. kind of gross and too big. especially the crab cake, which looked kind of disgusting (but was actually quite delicious), and the ceviche, which was ok.<\/p>\n
but here\u2019s one of the many MANY photos he took of the infamous pastel de choclo. i don\u2019t think it looks very good, and it wasn\u2019t so great, either.<\/p>\n
note the many many many wine glasses surrounding the pastel. they were all filled, and then re-filled.<\/p>\n

tonight for dad\u2019s birthday celebration we\u2019re NOT having a hundred glasses of wine. instead we\u2019re going to the red lobster, where we\u2019ll be forced to eat mass quantities of food including cheesy biscuits which i\u2019m vowing NOT TO HAVE even though i know this vow is utterly meaningless because i don\u2019t know a mortal soul who can possibly resist the delicious red lobster cheesy biscuits.<\/p>\n
all right then.<\/p>\n

p.s. i\u2019m mad because last night we forgot to go to baskin robbins where they had 31-cent ice cream cones. but the place was probably packed anyway. plus it\u2019s slightly too chilly for ice cream.<\/p>\n
