Rehearsal was good – fast, anyway. we didn\u2019t start on time because i was five minutes late. the director, john, called me at 7:03 and i yelled into the phone, “I\u2019M SORRY AND I\u2019M DRIVING 50 DOWN MONROE STREET!” so then he couldn\u2019t very well be mad at me, since i was making such a concerted effort\/risking life-n-limb, to get to rehearsal on time.<\/p>\n
we went to the Lime Street Cafe afterwards, a few of us, and john and i split Ultimate Nachos. they are, indeed, ultimate. the platter they arrived on was as big as a…well, as a gigantic platter, heaped with the ultimate in nachos.<\/p>\n
i ate too many of them. i couldn\u2019t resist – i feel that this might have been the first time i\u2019ve actually boldly ordered the nachos. <\/p>\n
They were delicious.<\/p>\n
i also had two glasses of wine, but they were incidental.<\/p>\n
it\u2019ll seem funny doing the show again tomorrow night. tonight i was slightly tired, because of all the exercising earlier in the day. somehow i\u2019d thought the rehearsal wouldn\u2019t involve so much jumping around, but i did do quite a bit of it. nobody to blame but myself.<\/p>\n
i think tomorrow night\u2019s performance will seem more real again, because of the costumes and the ballet shoes and the pin curls. i must say that the ballet was infinitely easier in tennis shoes instead of ballet shoes.<\/p>\n
whew. hopefully i\u2019ll sleep all night tonight, even though i ate a few hundred too many nachos.<\/p>\n
i\u2019m getting a little weary of being wide awake for a couple of hours, in the middle of the night. and it\u2019s making me a little weary, too.<\/p>\n
