it is pretty bad, though. there\u2019s about six inches on the ground, and it\u2019s incredibly windy out there and the snow continues to fall.<\/p>\n
yesterday at work ann kept saying “we\u2019re going to get a lot of snow,” but i didn\u2019t believe her until she showed me the NOAA sight, and it said there was a 100% chance of snow. so that was a pretty high percentage. 100%. and they sure were right.<\/p>\n
last night after work i stopped at the grocery store and it was raining, and in the store almost all the bread was gone. people were stocking up for the MIGHTY STORM A\u2019BREWIN.<\/p>\n
on my way home the rain was more like freezing rain.<\/p>\n
and then, when kevin got home from band practice, it was snow.<\/p>\n
snow.<\/p>\n
for some reason it hasn\u2019t plunged me into the depths of despair, i don\u2019t know why, but it\u2019s a good thing. i\u2019m debating about going over to the fit club to work out, but maybe i\u2019ll wait till the wind dies down a little, and till they\u2019ve had a chance to plow the streets. getting out of the driveway might be a challenge.<\/p>\n
maybe i\u2019ll just stay in.<\/p>\n
i think i\u2019ll bake some french bread. i want to make some soup, but i don\u2019t think i have enough ingredients. i guess it would be a little bit horrible to try to walk to the grocery store.<\/p>\n
what with all the snow and the fierce wind and all.<\/p>\n
winnie the cat is stretched out against the heat vent, his favorite place in the winter. <\/p>\n
