i talked to randy tonight and i believe he did even less than me this weekend. plus, he didn\u2019t seem to be terribly concerned that he hadn\u2019t done much of anything.<\/p>\n
less concern about things, that\u2019s what i\u2019m going to try to strive for.<\/p>\n
except for all the poor little kids who attend mute lunch\/restricted recess schools.<\/p>\n
also, the woman i talked to about these kids mentioned cursive. why do we have it? what\u2019s the point? a long time ago, it was a faster way of writing. but who really writes anymore?<\/p>\n
my writing looks like a third grader\u2019s. frequently i can\u2019t even read something i\u2019ve written in cursive. if i can\u2019t read it, how do i expect anybody else to?<\/p>\n
that\u2019s why i must type.<\/p>\n
but of course i don\u2019t have to type at all if i don\u2019t want to.<\/p>\n
because everything is fine. just fine.<\/p>\n
still no ice.<\/p>\n
they had six inches in oklahoma or some state west of here.<\/p>\n
ok, one more good thing – “saturday night live” was actually mostly funny last night. i can\u2019t remember any show where it was funny to begin with, and then actually kept being funny. weird. a nice surprise.<\/p>\n
this week we watched “tremors” which was a little less funny than i remembered (but since when has my memory been so great anyway? not that i can remember), and “volcano,” which i like because i\u2019ve spent so much time in all the places where the lava was alarmingly FLOWING DOWN THE STREET. <\/p>\n
and wow, i\u2019m sure we watched at least five other movies since last week but i can\u2019t remember what they might be. they were good, i\u2019m pretty sure. entertaining. soon, though, i\u2019m afraid i\u2019ll run out of movie selections at the video store i\u2019ve started going to. that will be a sad day.<\/p>\n
but for now, things, good.<\/p>\n
