i just had lunch with my friend thad, who is here visiting, and we went to the gateway of india and had their most excellent lunch buffet. if you like indian food and you haven\u2019t been to the gateway, WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU WAITING FOR?<\/p>\n
today there were more choices than there have ever been, including the very delicious mushroom masala wala. i just looked it up online in hopes of re-creating the dish, but i couldn\u2019t find a recipe. maybe it\u2019s really just “mushroom masala” and the wala part was just thrown in for the nice sound it makes when you say “masala wala.” i had two helpings.<\/p>\n
and, even though it was a bit chilly in the restaurant, i perservered and had some mango ice cream which is always very tasty.<\/p>\n
and now, it\u2019s still very warm here, almost 60, and we took a lovely walk and the weekend is upon us and it still seems a little hard to believe that i\u2019m actually doing a show in just TWO NIGHTS from now, not to mention the big dress rehearsal tomorrow night and i\u2019m pretty sure there are things i should be doing right this very instant to be getting ready.<\/p>\n
but i may just go outside again, seeing how winter continues to elude us.<\/p>\n
