picture me saying this very very sleepily, as i attempt to get just a few…just a few…more things done b4 xmas. which is about a half hour away.<\/p>\n
nothing critical to do. just overly-tired. today we took mollie for a 50-minute run, which was good. i spent the majority saying my show in my head, which kind of slowed me down. that, and the fact that i feel slow. weighted down by the excessive amount of cookies and chocolates i can\u2019t stop eating. <\/p>\n
after tomorrow, will i snap out of this sugar addiction? hardly likely. but you never know. never give up hope!<\/p>\n
tonight we had xmas eve dinner at amy and jim\u2019s and she made horseshoes. we kept calling them traditional lowfat xmas horseshoes because i think it\u2019s very funny that you\u2019d have horseshoes for xmas eve dinner. they were good, of course. i made salad and MANY MANY COOKIES. we\u2019re serving cookies again tomorrow and kevin said he didn\u2019t think people would be sick of cookies, i guess they won\u2019t be sick of them like i am, since that\u2019s all i\u2019ve been living on for the past week or so. waddling around the house eating cookies. <\/p>\n
speaking of gluttony, mollie was of course in heaven today. first a great and long run, and then a car ride to amy and jim\u2019s, and then lots and lots and LOTS of treats and french fries and everything she could get her little doggie paws on. who could resist such a cute and starving pup?<\/p>\n
not to mention the huge mouthfulls of food she managed to snag at mom and dad\u2019s house before going to amy and jim\u2019s. she was even more well-fed today than usual.<\/p>\n
so we got home a little while ago (so kevin can GO TO WORK ON XMAS EVE) and mollie rushed to her bowl where some of the automatic-dispensing kibbles were just dispensing and she WOLFED them all down because SHE WAS STARVING. <\/p>\n
and then when i gave the kitty a treat mollie was RIGHT THERE WAITING FOR HER TREAT.<\/p>\n
no more treats tonight, i told her. so now she\u2019s sleeping in the bed, perhaps satisfied for a few brief moments.<\/p>\n
tomorrow will be more treats and snacks and the giant rawhide candy cane we got her for xmas.<\/p>\n
i hope yours is merry. at least i hope it comes close to mollie\u2019s ongoing holiday delight<\/p>\n
