{"id":7580,"date":"2012-02-06T12:36:56","date_gmt":"2012-02-06T18:36:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/?p=7580"},"modified":"2012-02-06T12:36:56","modified_gmt":"2012-02-06T18:36:56","slug":"busted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/uncategorized\/busted\/","title":{"rendered":"busted!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>in the ongoing battle between kevin and les paul, les continues to win.\u00a0 i realized today that this has been going on practically since we first got him, last june.<\/p>\n<p>it may just last the rest of their lives, or at least as long as we still\u00a0 live here.<\/p>\n<p>kevin always figures that he&#8217;s thwarted les&#8217;s plans for getting out of the fence, but then les will suddenly be MIA.\u00a0 last night, for example, i was getting ready for bed and couldn&#8217;t find him. i went out in the front and called him, and he came running, and he had clearly been out there in the wild for a while because he was very cold and hungry.<\/p>\n<p>yesterday i was baking cookies and went out on the back deck to fan the cookie sheet back and forth, to cool it before baking another batch.\u00a0 i looked over at this sight&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7581\" title=\"f7\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>he was just resting up there, getting ready to hop down to freedom.\u00a0 i hurried in to get the camera, and when i got back out he was still there.\u00a0 i had time to take a picture, then get him off the fence, so it&#8217;s not like he was in a huge hurry to break free.<\/p>\n<p>this morning kevin went out and fortified it further, and then watched to see what les would do, but he just followed kevin back in the house.\u00a0 he&#8217;s busy plotting his next strategy, of course.<\/p>\n<p>here he is, stomping around the yard after i got him off the fence.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7582\" title=\"f8\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>he sharpened his non-existent claws, preparing for battle.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7583\" title=\"f9\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>here&#8217;s a prisoner&#8217;s-eye-view of the geese in the yard.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7584\" title=\"f10\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7585\" title=\"f11\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>mollie in the foreground, chester in the background, just happily hanging out.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7586\" title=\"f12\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>chester continues to be content with staying in the yard checking out the wildlife.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7587\" title=\"f13\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/f13.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>but lest you think he&#8217;s angelic, kevin sent me this photo this morning when i was gone &#8211;
