kevin started getting the wall street journal for free because he fills out lots of surveys.\u00a0 the big problem with the WSJ is that it is, unfortunately, chock full of many informative and interesting articles, which is further slowing down my ability to FINISH BAKING COOKIES.<\/p>\n
oh yeah, plus there’s\u00a0 the fact that although i do now love the WSJ, it’s definitely a love-hate relationship because it’s so filled with conservatives that in some article about, say, some guy wanting to watch lots of sports over the holidays, he’ll slip in some snarky thing about obama at the end.\u00a0 and there is inevitably some editorial about HOW TO BEAT OBAMA and HOW TO FILL THE CONGRESS WITH EVEN MORE CONSERVATIVES.\u00a0 but at least many of these conservative jabs seem pretty nervous about the fact that OBAMA IS GOING TO WIN AGAIN.<\/p>\n

meanwhile, cookie production is way down this year.\u00a0 i haven’t been so much in the xmas mood, plus there’s the whole eat all the cookies that i make thing happening, so i’ve only made five kinds so far.\u00a0 and like i said, TIME IS RUNNING OUT.\u00a0 right now i should be baking and frosting sugar cookies, which for some reason i left til the last minute, because they’re very time-consuming because of the rolling and cutting and frosting and all that crap.<\/p>\n
I SHOULD HAVE BAKED THEM SOONER.<\/p>\n
I was going to start at 9:00 a.m. this morning, and i’m now 16 minutes behind.<\/p>\n
but the house is finally (relatively) clean, and i only have a minor amount of wrapping to do, so things are good.<\/p>\n
here are the kitties, who moments ago were lying in a sunbeam, gently cleaning each other in a sweet, christmas-like way.<\/p>\n
