yesterday we went to the cat show at the fairgrounds and there were all these very very sad, lovely kitties who needed to be adopted – older cats who didn’t have a great chance of somebody taking them home, and i wanted to take them ALL HOME, so bad…

i feel that kevin’s tolerance of more and more new kitties is probably waning at this point, although he did spend huge amounts of time over the weekend trying to fortify the fenced-in yard out back, so that lester will not be able to jump the fence. i will have to take some pictures of it; he started out with a little bit of netting and some metal sticks with flags on them, but it has grown after kevin would take les out and see where the weaknesses were. i think, though, that les is probably more determined and will always find a way. he might have to resort to digging, which i am sure he’d do.

here’s yet another adorable photo of him – he jumped up in the bathroom sink and was curled up there the other day so i hurried into the bedroom and called on the intercom for kevin to GET UP HERE AND BRING A CAMERA! he didn’t understand me at first, but then he came back. at one point les was all squashed in there with his paws draped gracefully over the side, but then with all the excitement of course he had to get up.

more later.

ok then,
