groomsmen, actually warriors. they were needed to the bride\u2019s family wouldn\u2019t be able to steal her back, nor would anybody else get her.<\/p>\n
but what if she was annoying or something, would the family say “good riddance, you can have her?” <\/p>\n
and a reason for bridesmaids was that they were a bunch of women dressed JUST LIKE the bride, so angry ex-suitors and others wouldn\u2019t be able to figure which one was the actual bride.<\/p>\n
fascinating information from some bridal book i got at the library which was otherwise stuffed and clogged with all kinds of bridal stuff i didn\u2019t care about reading about.<\/p>\n
but one funny thing – there was a book all about questions a bride might have, and one of them was about what to do about wedding crashers. they went on and on about ushers escorting them out and stuff, but then the question was posed, what happens if a dog wanders into the ceremony? it can just sit there if it\u2019s being quiet, or otherwise, once again, the ushers need to escort it out.<\/p>\n
i feel that there will be at least one invited dog at my wedding. mollie, of course, who will be a good dog. shortie and gizmo aren\u2019t invited, though, because they would be quite unruly and would certaily have to be escorted out, except of course that they\u2019re so little and cute that people would want them to stay.<\/p>\n
tuesday already! i\u2019m taking the train on thursday, and i bought my ticket, and i\u2019m excited about that. just up to rockford to meet MFH who is teaching a class, and then i get to lounge around all day on friday while he teaches. not to mention the large amount of lounging on the train itself.<\/p>\n
