OF COURSE I WILL!

it feels great, but also kind of surreal, since i’ve never ever been proposed to or engaged or going to be MARRIED.

jim was surprised and happy. amy was happy, but i know the night before she’d been whispering stuff to MFH like “WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO POP THE QUESTION?” and just yesterday i know she called him and told him something wedding-related. not that she was pressing for it or anything.

mom and dad weren’t surprised but they were quite happy and when we went to their house they offered us some of dad’s delicious leftover birthday cake, but we were too delirious to accept any. it’s probably too late now to get any of it.

dad said YOU DON’T NEED TO START PLANNING ANYTHING NOW, and he said we need to keep it simple, and not to listen to all the tons of advice we’re going to get. not if we don’t want it, anyway.

and then we went to randy’s and he said WE HAVE TO START PLANNING RIGHT AWAY! LISTS, WE NEED TO MAKE LISTS! he brought up mom’s surprise birthday party we had a few years ago, which involved much planning and lots of lists and boy that was a lot of work. hmm, we’re going to have to figure out how to make this plan less stressful. maybe randy and amy can be in charge of everything. that would make it infinitely easier, but of course the wedding would end up costing about a million bucks, probably.

so we’ll just see. randy says he can do things very economically, but also FABULOUSLY.

MFH’s mom, nancee, asked him today if, now that we’re going to be married, i’ll use his REAL NAME.

ok, it’s kevin.

who is MY FUTURE HUSBAND.

weird, and crazy.

and very very exciting.

and that’s all my news on this (ridiculously chilly although somebody just told me it’s snowing in wyoming so at least i don’t live there) lovely friday afternoon.

ok then,

may grace. soon to be MARRIED.

if you’ve been reading what i’ve written for a couple of years now, you’ll remember me mentioning MNB (my new boyrfriend). i started writing about him almost two years ago, when we first started dating. i wrote about going with him to his first triathlon, about doing a triathlon with him, about going to the […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[1

post-607","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
