the fenced yard.\u00a0 i told kevin, who got the camera and took a few photos.\u00a0 he quickly realized that the reason the hawk was being so polite in letting him take pictures is because it actually wasn&#8217;t the hawk&#8217;s good manners, but the fact that it was devouring a mourning dove.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5497\" looked like a long crack in the ice.\u00a0 it wasn&#8217;t actually a crack, but a line where the snow had melted.\u00a0 it must be a little bit warm under the water.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" up a little on monday, the line got bigger, going all the way down to the dock.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5503\" title=\"d111\" got above freezing and all the snow melted, there was a layer of water on top of the ice.\u00a0 today it&#8217;s frozen again and it would probably be a good time to stage some kind of figure-skating
